Do you know that there is no secret to financial freedom and fulfillment?

That’s right, my friend, but there is a roadmap.

I am joined by a good friend of mine, John Lee Dumas, to talk all about his new book and the lessons in it for entrepreneurs to find financial freedom and fulfillment.

On Today’s Show You’ll Learn:

  • Breaking down what it means to have a roadmap to fulfillment

  • Why entrepreneurs are failing
  • How to keep a pulse on the money in your business

We talk a lot in this episode about what you can do to stand out and find success.

What does leadership mean to you?

As your business grows, you can’t do everything yourself, so you are required to transition from entrepreneur to CEO. It can be such a challenge to take on that leadership role well, so I am sharing some tips that have been effective for me.

In this quick tip episode, I am talking to you about three tips for becoming a better leader. Along with those, I am covering some mistakes I made early on, an assessment I love to use to get to know my team and more.

Many entrepreneurs start their business without thinking about what type of leader they will be once it grows. I want you to learn from my mistakes and write down some of the advice I am giving in this episode for the betterment of you, your team and your business!

Whether you have one person on your team or many, this episode will be really helpful for you!

Do you want to know how to start making hires for your business?

I asked my online business manager, Erika Macauley, to join me on the show today. She came into my business at the end of 2020, and she is just amazing. She gets more done part-time than some full-time team members I’ve had in the past.

Today Erika is going to give you a counterintuitive approach to hiring your support staff. She’s walking us through the order in which you should hire support staff, what it costs to hire people in roles like OBM or VA, what to include in your job posting and all kinds of other important things to know.

Erika is a systems slayer, chaos coordinator, Trello evangelist and pretty dang good at whipping the back end of businesses into shape. She’s an OBM, integrator, and project manager who works with 6 and 7-figure creative business owners to get her Type A brain wrangling all their amazing visionary ideas into actionable outcomes.

On Today’s Show You’ll Learn:

  • The difference between support staff roles like OMB, VA, integrator, etc.
  • Signs that you might need an integrator or OBM
  • What order you should be hiring in
  • What it costs to hire people in these roles
  • How to make hires when you’re on a smaller budget
  • Where to find people to hire
  • Examples of what to include in your job posting
  • Things your support team wishes you knew
  • How to get things flowing more smoothly
  • The importance of clearly defined roles

Hopefully this simplifies the hiring process for you and helps you to see what your next steps might be as you grow your team.

If you’re an online course creator, coach, or maybe you have a membership, and you are already having consistent $5K months, but you’re not sure how to take your business to the next level, I have news for you: what you think is holding you back is not what's holding you back.

What you need is a cohesive growth strategy, personalized coaching, group coaching, support, and accountability. That is what I'm offering in my Accelerator coaching program. It’s open, and it’s application only, so go to www.rickmulready.com/accelerator to learn more and apply.

I am back with another quick tip episode.  These episodes have tips or strategies you can use to help you grow your online business so you can have a bigger impact and increase your revenue in the process.

Are you trying to figure out how to stand out in a crowded niche?

If you’ve been listening to the show recently, we’ve been talking about this a lot.

Let me tell you what grade school taught me about it.

Here’s a little fact about me: my biggest pet peeve is being talked down to. Several years ago, I dove into figuring out why that bothers me so much, and I realized that it happened to me a lot as a kid. People often talked at me instead of to me.

When I started my business, my instinct was to talk at people too. That was what I knew, and I wondered why it was so difficult to grow my audience.

In this episode, I’m sharing what I learned from that experience, and how it has helped me connect with my perfect customer, stand out in my niche and grow my business.

It’s going to be a good one. Don’t miss it!

If this is speaking to you, watch Brandon Lucero’s brand new Content Revolution Video Series. You will learn how to create engaging content with unique messaging that creates demand for your offer, builds profitable connection with your audience, and forces you to stand out in your niche. Have you changed your messaging since starting your business? I bet you have!

In today’s episode, I am sharing with you my journey when it comes to messaging and a few takeaways that I think will help you a lot.

We are talking a lot about how your messaging will evolve as your business grows and what you can do to figure out the right messaging for your ideal customer avatar.

Your messaging and your content will allow you to attract your perfect customers and repel the people who don't align with you, so it is important that you feel prepared to tackle it.

On Today’s Show You’ll Learn:

  • How and where I started to shift my messaging into a more holistic approach
  • Why I was okay with a slight drop in following and listenership in the process
  • The importance of redefining your ideal customer avatar as you shift your messaging
  • Allowing a certain word or phrase to drive your business
  • Why you need to get clear on your values
  • How your experience will shape your messaging and business pillars
  • What it looks like to flesh out your messaging visually

Remember, your content is simply the vehicle for your messaging, and it is never too late to change directions in your business if you are feeling a strong pull

Don’t forget to watch Brandon Lucero’s brand new Content Revolution Video Series. During this series, you will learn how to create engaging content with unique messaging that creates demand for your offer, builds a profitable connection with your audience, and forces you to stand out in your niche.
