On today’s episode, Michael Alaniz, a local marketing expert from Local Loop Marketing rejoins me, this time to talk about Google Call-Only ads.
This is Michael’s second time on the show as he was a guest back on episode 31 talking about Google Adwords for local business.
Call-Only ads are a new-er kind of ad format within Google’s AdWords suite. Michael’s seeing some great results with them for his clients so I asked him to come on and share what these ads are all about, how local businesses can be using them, what to look out for, and best practices.
Specifically, here's what you're going to learn on today's episode:
On today's episode of The Art of Paid Traffic, I've got a really cool case study... I’m talking with Amanda Greville from Rock Paper Gifts, a wedding invitation and paper goods company.
Amanda’s been running Facebook ads for her business for about a year now, doing what most beginners do -- boosting a post here and there.
She decided that it was important to keep learning Facebook ads so that she could keep bringing in new business, so about 6 months ago, she started taking things seriously and began using Power Editor to create her ads.
And that’s when the real fun began!
She started seeing some good results and tested different ad formats until she knocked it out of the park with one ad format in particular.
And when I say knocked it out of the park I mean she got a 5000% ROI!
Here's what you're going to learn on today's episode:
If you’ve ever doubted that Facebook ads can’t work for a niche higher priced product, you’re gonna love this episode!
On today's episode we’re talking all about Facebook pixels, specifically the new Facebook pixel and custom conversions.
According to Facebook, the "new" Facebook pixel is what the advertising team is basing all future product development on.
I think this is a good thing as it'll provide some stability going forward (even though, as you'll hear in the episode, there will be lots of iterations and updates).
The Facebook pixel now combines the retargeting pixel AND the conversion tracking.
However, the conversion tracking pixels that we've been using will still work the same way until mid-2016, which means if you currently have the website custom audience pixel on your site, you do not need to change the code.
It's recommended to just get it done, but not necessary right now...
On today’s episode I’m pumped to be talking about creating automated marketing systems in your business and how paid traffic can drive those systems with my good friends Jason Van Orden and Jeremy Frandsen from Internet Business Mastery.
If you’re not familiar with who Jason and Jeremy are, they’ve been podcasting for 10 years now over on their Internet Business Mastery podcast. It’s an awesome show that I’ve been listening to for a few years now so if you’ve never heard it definitely check it out.
Over that time they’ve built a multi-million dollar business and they’re really smart when it comes to being able to holistically look at a business and figure out where the opportunities are to increase revenue.
Lots of gold in today’s conversation from a couple of guys who have been successfully doing this stuff for a long time.
