On today's episode of The Art of Paid Traffic, I'm sharing a paid traffic newbie case study.

Mary Fernandez shares her story of how she generated almost 550 cold leads from Facebook ads for as little as $0.19, yet still didn’t profit from her spend.  Today you'll learn what happened, look at what went wrong in her sales funnel, and hear the lessons she's now taken into her most recent paid traffic campaign.

In this week's episode of The Art of Paid Traffic podcast Amazon PPC expert Scott Voelker joins me to share how to use specific PPC strategies to make more sales on Amazon.

I've gotten a lot of requests to discuss Amazon PPC on the podcast so I'm psyched to welcome Scott so he can share his tips and strategies for using PPC to sell things on Amazon through their Fulfillment by Amazon program.

Today's Amazon PPC topic is something I knew nothing about before talking with Scott and now that I’ve had this conversation with him I think this is a really interesting strategy for creating a business for yourself.

I think you're gonna feel the same after hearing the episode.

On Today's Episode, You'll Learn:

  • Scott’s 3-step approach to launching a new product ad campaign
  • How to use Amazon PPC to get more reviews of your product
  • Best practices for how many reviews you should have on your product before turning on your PPC
  • The key length of time to test your PPC campaign when starting out
  • At what point you determine winners vs losers
  • Strategies for getting the highest ad ranking on Amazon for the lowest costs

I've got a different kind of Art of Paid Traffic episode for you today.

This is an episode where I was interviewed by Joey Kissimmee for his podcast which is called the Income Press podcast.

And the reason I wanted to share it with you because even though I was being interviewed I got to ask Joey some questions about what he’s currently doing with Facebook ads in his business.

If you recall, I interviewed Joey, who is a student in my FB ADvantage training, back in episode #4 here on AOPT where we talked about Facebook ads retargeting and the very specific retargeting strategy he uses in his business to see huge ROI.

Today you’re going to hear:

  • Joey talk about how has now tripled his income using Facebook ads and what he does with that extra revenue
  • Joey also talks about the effect that Facebook ads have had on his family
  • We also get into the Facebook retargeting strategy that Joey is currently using and the results he’s seeing from his ads.  How he uses retargeting as his auto-responder
  • We get into what kind of ad copy Facebook doesn't like and how to write copy especially for retargeting.
  • We then talk about pricing strategies, including how to determine how much you should spend on your ands and what point you should consider scaling your ad spend and how to go about doing that without ruining your cost per-lead.

If you've been listening to the show for a while now, you know that I do these Q&A episodes every so often and today I'm answering questions about:

  • Targeting and how to improve an ads campaign for a veterinary niche
  • How to avoid using destination URLs for your Facebook ads that might be considered spam by Facebook
  • How to focus and leverage your targeting when you're a service based business and offer a variety of services
  • How authors can get the most out of their advertising when sending traffic to Amazon

If you've been listening to the show for a while now, you know that I do these Q&A episodes every so often and today I'm answering questions about:

  • What's up with Facebook ads pixels these days? I heard there was a new "upgraded" pixel?
  • What are some big, overlooked or unknown “Gotchas” associated with running Facebook ads
  • Explain why you don't reach the full # of people that your target audience suggests
  • Can you explain how to use Business Manager? Who should be using it and what's the big deal about it?
