In an effort to help you lead your business in these times, I’ve been bringing some great guests on the show, and today is no different. My guest is Tarzan Kay, a former copywriter and online business owner who now helps people through her online courses and coaching programs.
The last time Tarzan was a guest on the show, back in May 2019, she talked about how to create big revenue with a small email list. Today’s topic is something that is so important for online entrepreneurs, especially now, which is how to show up for your audience in an authentic way.
We cover things like if we should be selling at this time, how to use urgency and scarcity the right way, what she sees happening in these uncertain times, and so much more!

In an effort to help you lead your business through these turbulent and uncertain times, not only do I want to share my own thoughts, but I want to bring you lots of different perspectives. Today you’re going to hear from my friend and former coach, Kris Plachy, a business and mindset coach for female entrepreneurs who generate 7-figures of revenue and above. Her coaching is relevant to any entrepreneur though, regardless of gender and revenue level, and I hope you get a ton out of this conversation with Kris!

With the events that are happening around the world, I want to be showing up as much possible. That is why I’m bringing you this bonus episode today, to support you through these turbulent times we are all facing.
A lot of people are telling you what you “should” be doing right now, and I think it’s doing you a disserve. I’m seeing a lot of shaming happening around business owners selling their products and services now, but I’m going to reveal why I absolutely think that now is the time that you should be selling and serving your audience.
Like I mentioned last week, If you have a topic that you’d like me to cover on the podcast, as always please reach out to me by direct message on Instagram, @rickmulready.
Today I have a longer episode for you instead of the shorter Quick Tip episode that usually publishes on Friday. I invited my close friend Mel Abraham onto the show to give his perspective on the current events that are happening, and what we can do as business owners to survive, and thrive, in these times.
In this conversation Mel and I cover a lot of topics, including what we both think of selling to your audience right now, the opportunities that exist for us entrepreneurs to help the economy, plus his tips for navigating your short-term finances, long-term planning, and much more.
Remember, like I said on the last episode, if you don’t know how to act or feel right now – it’s ok! You are not alone.

Just last week I had my Accelerator live event, and I’m so grateful we came together as a group to discuss the challenges, and opportunities, that exist today. It’s taken me a few days to gather my thoughts about everything that’s going on in the world right now, but that live event reminded me that we’re all in this together, and we will get through these uncertain times and be stronger (and better) for it.
I wanted to record this episode to give you some ideas about how you can lean in even more right now and authentically serve your audience from a place of love and service. It’s not going to be easy, but I truly believe that together we’ve got this!
Look for more podcast episodes and daily Facebook Lives that I’ll be doing to talk more about the current situation we face, and to offer my support to each and every one of you any way that I can.

Today I’m excited to be talking about how to systematize your online business so that you can not only scale it, but also to be able to take time away from your business. The key though is for you to be able to do this and still generate revenue while you’re away – and not have everything in your business fall apart! Joining me to share her expertise in this area is Sarah Noked, who’s an expert in helping online business owners scale their businesses using things like automation, systems, processes and team building.
In this episode we dive deep into the 5 ways to use systems and teams to scale your online business, what a “virtual office” is, and why it’s a must have in your business. Sarah reveals the tools and strategies she uses in her own business, and so much more.
Regardless of where you are at in your business right now, I’m certain that you are going to hear something today that you can immediately implement into your own business so that you can take a step away – and still have it flourish!

What I love most about Facebook and Instagram ads is that when you use them to grow an online business, they are a source of predictable leads and sales. That is the foundation of a scalable business, especially when combined with your organic efforts, such as social media, a podcast, blog or YouTube channel. What hold so many people from running ads though is the fear of losing money (and/or time!) and not having any results to show for it. Today’s guest is Nicole Burke, and you’re going to get a lot from her story of how she overcame this fear to run ads, and after figuring them out, she is now off to the races!
In addition to running a brick and mortar business called Rooted Garden, which she started with only $400 and grew it to 6-figures in just one year, Nicole is the founder of Gardenary, the online platform that connects beginner and learning gardeners with experienced gardeners through courses, workshops, and garden coaching. Most of our conversation focuses on this business, and how Nicole grew it to over 6-figures as well, without the use of ads and by using super smart organic strategies, especially on Instagram.
Now that Nicole has shifted her mindset on paid ads and is seeing great success by using them, the sky is the limit for her and I’m so excited to be sharing this conversation with you today. I hope you can use these lessons to grow your business, and let us Nicole and I know how the strategies she revealed work for you!
Be on the lookout for my brand new live training on Facebook Pixels that is happening on March 23rd.
