On today's episode of the Art of Paid Traffic, we’re going to continue our mini-series on metrics and measuring your paid traffic as today, Charlie Vallely and Keith Perhac from a company called SegMetrics are joining me to talk about understanding the value of a lead and using your metrics to really dial in on determining how much should you spend on your paid ads.

Now as you’ll hear as we get into it, the metrics platform they’ve created works with Infusionsoft but if you’re not an Infusionsoft user, not to worry, it’s totally fine. You’re still going to get a ton out of this discussion.

On today’s episode of the Art of Paid Traffic, I welcome David Jaeger who's the founder and CEO of Global SEM Partners which is an agency that specializes in PPC marketing, Google AdWords and eCommerce marketing.

This is the first of two back to back episodes where we’re going to dive in and talk about metrics and measuring your paid ad performance. Not always the most sexy of topics but uber important to understand when you’re running paid traffic in your business.

I asked David to come on the podcast because one of his core messages is understanding and setting performance targets, specifically the psychology behind setting up performance targets for lead generation.

On Today's Episode, You'll Learn:

  • How to build your marketing to scale using key metrics
  • Why setting performance targets for your paid traffic is the foundation of growing your business
  • David shares the concepts of "back against the wall" and "laughing to the bank” and how to use these for the best results possible
  • We talk about how much you should spend on your ads too get the best ROI possible
  • And he also shares tips and strategies for tweaking your sales funnel for better results

On today’s episode of the Art of Paid Traffic, I welcome back my friend and previous guest, Ryan Masters, this time to talk about YouTube ads.

I’ve been getting a lot of requests to cover YouTube ads again because it’s been quite a while since we’ve covered it.

Ryan is all about keeping paid traffic simple and his expertise is in Google AdWords, which is what we talked about the last time I had him on (in episode #28).

Over the last few years as AdWords has gotten more expensive and competitive, though, he’s branched into other forms of paid traffic including Facebook and YouTube ads.

He’s also the traffic guy behind one of the grandfathers of PPC, Perry Marshall, who is also a previous guest here on the show (episode #27).

Today, Ryan covers 3 paid YouTube traffic strategies that are crushing it right now...

And we also start off with an interesting conversation about how to decide if paid traffic is right for where you’re at in your business.
